Md. Shahin Sheikh
Full-Stack Software Engineer
Five years building the software that cannot afford to go down — marketplaces, booking engines and checkout flows for some of the busiest platforms in Bangladesh.

Dhaka, Bangladesh
I build the part users touch — and the part that keeps it standing.
I’m Shahin. For five years I’ve worked on systems that get judged in public: a national marketplace on flash-sale day, a flight search quoting thousands of fares at once, a checkout that has to clear on the first try.
Today I’m an engineer at Cartup, owning the storefront, search and order pipeline. Before that, at TechnoNext and Morpheus Soft, I led front-end teams, drew micro-service boundaries with gRPC and Kafka, and wired AI into search and support. The through-line: an interface that feels effortless, on a backend that earns it.
Day to day
- Ship end to end — React and Next.js on the front, .NET and Node behind it
- Design micro-service boundaries with gRPC, Kafka and Redis
- Keep search and checkout fast when traffic spikes
- Wire AI into real surfaces: search, support, recommendations

Teletalk Bangladesh
Software Engineer Intern · Dhaka, BD
First production code, written on the internal systems of a national telecom operator.
What I did
- Built an internal approval workflow end to end
- Wrote an in-memory search index that cut page load by ~60%
Morpheus Soft
Software Engineer · Front-End · Dhaka, BD
Product engineering on a small, fast team — biometrics, crypto and travel, usually starting from a blank file.
What I did
- Built a palm-scan biometric OAuth product on WebAssembly and React
- Delivered a real-time crypto trading dashboard
- Shipped customer-facing OTA booking flows

TechnoNext Ltd.
Software Engineer · Dhaka, BD
Lead engineer across travel and e-commerce products — Firsttrip, US-Bangla Airlines and the internal tooling the ops teams ran on.
What I did
- Built flight search and booking flows over live partner-airline inventory
- Shipped the student-fare programme and authenticated ops dashboards
- Set the front-end conventions and shared components other teams built on

Cartup Ltd.
Software Engineer · Dhaka, BD
One of Bangladesh’s largest online marketplaces. I own the storefront, search and order pipeline end to end on a Next.js and .NET stack.
What I did
- Keep checkout correct and responsive through flash-sale traffic spikes
- Tune search and product discovery across a multi-seller catalogue
- Cut storefront load time with Redis caching and server-rendered routes

CartUp
Storefront · Search · Orders
A multi-seller marketplace with flash sales, real-time inventory and a checkout that has to hold on the busiest shopping day of the year.
My part
- Built the storefront and product-discovery surfaces
- Hardened the checkout path against flash-sale traffic

My part
- Led the front end across the customer, merchant and fleet apps
- Built live order tracking on Kafka-driven order events
- Shipped restaurant onboarding end to end

Firsttrip
Flight search · Partner integrations
Bangladesh’s leading travel booking platform — flights, holidays, visas and eSIM behind a single search box.
My part
- Led the flight search and results experience
- Integrated partner-airline inventory behind one fare model
- Shipped the student-fare programme end to end

Corsica Health
Front-end engineering
A US telehealth platform pairing patients with board-certified physicians for GLP-1 weight-management care — where trust is the product.
My part

- Shipped the member portal for ongoing care and refills
- Wired Stripe subscriptions into the care-plan lifecycle

US-Bangla Airlines
Booking · Check-in · Loyalty
The passenger-facing surface of a regional carrier flying across Asia and the Middle East — booking, check-in and Sky Star miles.
My part
- Built the booking and self-service rebooking flows
- Shipped live flight status and online check-in
- Delivered the content-driven holiday store
Built in the open.

Shahin moves between a Figma file and a production .NET service without dropping either. He shipped our checkout rewrite a sprint early, and it held on launch day.
Md. Rafiqul AlamEngineering Manager · TechnoNextHe treated our codebase like his own — refactored quietly, wrote the tests, left it cleaner than he found it. That is rarer than it should be.
Preet S.CTO · Corsica HealthThe AI search Shahin built for our marketplace lifted click-through on product discovery measurably. Calm, methodical, and his documentation was better than ours.
Md. Mehedi HasanSr. Team Lead · CartUpDeep technical range, a real sense for design, and the kind of teammate who makes a project easier to be on. We bring him back whenever we can.

Have something worth building?
I take on a small number of engagements each quarter — long-term contracts, fractional engineering leadership, and the occasional weekend AI experiment. Email reaches me fastest; tell me what you are building and where it hurts.
